I initially called their customer service number 855-9000 to inquire about the re-booking process. The rep told me to go to Airphil Ticketing Office to pay 1344 pesos for the rebooking fee. Kelangan sa ticketing office ang transaction ng rebooking. I don’t have a choice but to go there. So I went to Airphil Cubao Office (tapat ng Farmers Cubao) to rebook my flight thinking that I only had to shell out 1344P.
Prior to going there, I clearly asked the customer rep if there were additional charges, hidden charges etc. He said it’s fixed. He didn’t told me that….

Arrived at 4PM, serving #817….mine was #874. Ang ineet. Walang aircon. Some people who went before me gave up their numbers already. It’s already past 7pm when my number got called. From #860, naging #874 because a lot of people lined up went home already. Napakabagal kasi ng serbisyo. I can understand that. Pero sana magdagdag sila ng staff, at maglagay ng aircon. Sobrang init sa loob ng office nila at ang dumi (ang arte hehe). Ampanget! Parang
When I was ready to pay, they’re charging me 4K+ for rebooking my flight back to Manila. Whaaaaat! Akala ko 1344? The rep told me clearly it’s only 1344! I waited 3++ hrs to pay 1344P!!! Yun lang ang kaya ng budget ko. May adjustment daw sa pamasahe plus penalty which is 1344P. So penalty lang pala yun 1344. New ticket purchase costs 2500++. Much much cheaper! Parusa much ano ba! Mag RORORO na lang ako! Nanghihinayang ako sa ticket. At nanghinayang ako sa oras na ginugol ko dun. Haaaay I wasted my time and effort. That’s 4 hrs of my life that I’ll never get back bec that rep gave me the wrong info!!! If I had know beforehand na there are other charges, hindi ko na sana inabala ang sarili ko na pumila noh! Napaka-incompetent lang ng Customer Service ng Airphil!!!
So my advice when rebooking a flight: BUMILI NA LANG NG BAGONG TICKET.
